The role is based at WomenCentre Calderdale and the hours are worked over four days (working days negotiable).
Contract: Fixed term contract until 30th June 2028 (possible continuation dependent on funding)
Hours: 21 hours per week
Salary: £30,151 – £32,020 pro rata (actual salary £17,112 – £18,173)
The ideal candidate will have considerable experience of providing domestic abuse support; some court support experience and will have completed the Safe Lives accredited IDVA training course or equivalent. However, all suitability qualified and experienced applications are welcomed.
In this role you will be required to work in partnership with the police and criminal justice agencies, as well as with statutory and third sector agencies to provide support and advice to victims of domestic abuse.
Suitable candidates will have sound risk assessment skills; be victim focused; have a solid understanding of the legal framework relating to domestic abuse civil and criminal proceedings and have excellent communication skills.
