Bringing Calderdale youth‑sector professionals and volunteers together to connect, share insight and strengthen collaboration.
Calderdale Youth Collective: Getting Connected is a lively, hands‑on event for professionals and volunteers who work with, support, fund or champion young people across Calderdale’s youth sector.
This gathering brings the sector together — face to face — to share what we know, understand each other’s strengths, explore shared challenges and build stronger working relationships.
Hosted by the Calderdale Youth Collective Exec, the session creates space for practical conversations, real collaboration and new opportunities that ultimately benefit young people across Calderdale.
During the session, we will:
- Connect — properly, in person
- Share expertise, insight and good practice
- Explore current challenges across the sector
- Identify what support, skills and resources already exist locally
- Strengthen collaboration across organisations and services
- Generate ideas for how the Collective can support the sector going forward
This is not a sit‑down‑and‑listen event. Expect movement, conversation and interactive activities designed to help us work better together for Calderdale’s young people.
Information for attendees
- Bring your organisation’s banner if you have one. It will be displayed around the room — no need to stand with it all afternoon.
- Share one or two slides, pages or visuals about your organisation, service or offer. These will be shown throughout the event to help everyone understand who’s in the room and what support exists across Calderdale.
Please send materials to hello@newground.co.uk.
