The West Yorkshire Violence Reduction Partnership (VRP) are seeking to commission delivery partners to provide a new targeted Social Skills programme in West Yorkshire.

Social skills programmes (Social and Emotional Learning – Targeted as described by the Youth Endowment Fund) aim to develop positive behaviours, including children and young people’s ability to exercise self-control, to understand and respond appropriately to their emotions, and to understand things from other people’s perspectives. A key tenet of social skills programmes is the use of interactive activities, including role play, behavioural rehearsal, mindfulness and storytelling.

They are holding a grant round and asking those interested in this opportunity to consider submitting an Expression of Interest (EOI). Please contact pccommissioning@westyorks-ca.gov.uk for the Supporting Documents and then, if you’re interested in applying, email them again for an Application Pack.

Deadline: 12 noon Friday 3rd July 2026.

Please note submissions after this will not be accepted.

(The VRP is not necessarily looking for providers to cover the whole WY footprint – they’re looking for providers who can work across localities they have existing relationships in).

A quarterly newsletter to keep our members up to date on not only VAC Membership updates and opportunities but also specifically created content on topics of interest to the local voluntary, community and social enterprise sector. 

The Bimonthly Member Network is for VAC Members to connect with other VAC Members!

A perfect opportunity to support one another, find out about other local services and explore new collaborative opportunities and partnerships with fellow VAC members.
