The Energy Resilience Fund, financed by Power to Change and delivered by Key Fund, is providing financial support to organisations seeking to manage energy costs and improve sustainability.
The fund offers a blended package of loan and grant finance ranging from £10,000 to £15,000. Most of the support is provided as a loan, with up to 40% available as a grant. Repayment terms starts from a minimum of 12 months and can extend to a maximum of seven years.
In addition, Energy Audit Grants between £500 and £2,500 are available for organisations that have not yet completed an energy audit.
Eligible applicants include community businesses, charities and social enterprises in England that either own their buildings or hold long-term leases. Applicants must also demonstrate that they are unable to access finance from mainstream banks.
The funding is intended for capital projects aimed at improving energy efficiency and reducing operating costs. This includes retrofitting buildings with measures such as insulation and solar panels, alongside other technologies designed to lower carbon emissions and energy use.
