Focus4Hope are looking to hire a Crisis Intervention & Volunteer Co-Ordinator.
Hours: 35 hours per week
Salary: £28,000
This is a permanent contract.
Focus4Hope support people facing some of life’s toughest challenges – from food poverty and financial hardship to loneliness and crisis situations. Every day they work alongside individuals and families to ensure they feel supported, valued and not alone.
They are now looking for a Crisis Intervention & Volunteer Co-Ordinator to join their small dedicated tam at an exciting time of growth.
This is a hands-on, varied role at the heart of their organisation.
You will:
- Provide practical support, advice and guidance to people in need
- Help co-ordinate and deliver a wide range of community activities and services
- Play a key role in supporting and organising their volunteers – who are central to everything they do
They’re looking for someone who is:
- Compassionate, approachable and non-judgemental
- Organised and able to manage a busy, varied workload
- Confident working with people from all walks of life
- Experienced in supporting individuals in a community or support setting
Importantly, you will also have the ability to:
- Coordinate and support volunteers in a positive and inclusive way
- Build strong relationships and create a welcoming environment
- Take initiative and work as part of a small, committed team
