VAC Cost of Living Signposting Training

Cost of Living Signposting training is for any frontline workers or volunteers in VCSE groups who are interacting with vulnerable people struggling with the cost of living.

It aims to give them the skills and knowledge to signpost them effectively to the right services, is locally focused with some digital resources, and involves time to practice, and a directory folder that the organisation can keep.

It is a free two-hour session with a break included. Cake/biscuits will be provided if in person!

The training covers affordable warmth, energy and utilities, budgeting, money guidance and debt, support for families, food support, housing and living costs, employability support, and other key topics. 

The maximum number of people for a training session is 12-multiple sessions can be booked if there are more than 12. It can be hosted at the organisation or online, preferably in person.

A quarterly newsletter to keep our members up to date on not only VAC Membership updates and opportunities but also specifically created content on topics of interest to the local voluntary, community and social enterprise sector. 

The Bimonthly Member Network is for VAC Members to connect with other VAC Members!
