EdSHIFT’S Annual Arts Market

EdShift wants to connect with local creatives who want to promote their work through charitable endeavours. They have two opportunities to get involved with:

The Market

EdShift invites you to take up space, sell you wares and make a difference to the lives of young people impacted by domestic abuse.

Their YouthBase can facilitate up to 10 artists from the region, spanning all forms of artistic and creative mediums.

How to submit:

You must submit a portfolio and a range of selected artworks to nathan@edshift.co.uk by October 13th (23:59pm). Along with your name, a brief bio and any other relevant materials. An up-front payment of £20 per stall, is to be invoiced upon successful submission. All proceeds are subsidised into EdShift support services. Artists are free to retain all monies from their sales.

The Silent Auction:

Taking place at The Market, if you can’t join us as a stallholder – why not submit to our auction? EdShift is seeking donations of A5 prints to raise proceeds to support our vital work with young people impacted by domestic abuse and violence.

How to submit:

You must submit high resolution images of your prints for auction, along with our name, a brief bio ad a short description of the artwork to nathan@edshift.co.uk by October 13th (23:59pm). Selected artists will be required to deliver their physical prints to the YouthBase at 7 Harrison Road, HX1 2AG by October 31st.

What's included?

You will receive a VAC Member welcome pack with useful information on getting the most out of your membership and a few extra treats!

Every member of VAC will be invited to our Annual General Meeting (AGM) and has voting rights for resolutions and proposals either in person or by proxy.

To support VAC members to feel connected and informed, we have created a unique Member Area on the VAC Website.

The online dashboard will keep you and your colleagues up to date on the latest member opportunities, training and news.

The Member Area also has a forum function, allowing VAC Member organisations to interact and support each other.

A quarterly newsletter to keep our members up to date on not only VAC Membership updates and opportunities but also specifically created content on topics of interest to the local voluntary, community and social enterprise sector. 

The Bimonthly Member Network is for VAC Members to connect with other VAC Members!

A perfect opportunity to support one another, find out about other local services and explore new collaborative opportunities and partnerships with fellow VAC members.
