Room Hire

VAC is very proud to own and maintain a fully accessible and DDA compliant Resource Centre in Halifax, Calderdale. We are located a short walk from Halifax Town Centre and 10-15 minutes from both Halifax Bus Station and Halifax Train Station.

We offer a range of flexible rooms for hire located in Halifax, West Yorkshire. Our rooms are fully equipped with i3 TOUCH hybrid technology and offers seating for up to 25 theatre style in our larger meeting space and up to 8 in our smaller meeting rooms. 

Rooms can be hired for just an hour through to a full day (between the opening hours of 9am – 3.30pm Mon-Fri). All rooms have free WiFi access and we offer a range of equipment hire to support your meetings if required.

Rates

All meeting rooms are charged at:

Community Rate (Local Voluntary, Community & Social Enterprise Sector) – £25 or £20 per hour depending on which room is required (discount available to VAC Members)

Catering

VAC offers a catering service for all in house bookings starting from £6.75 per head.

Continuously available; water, tea, coffee and biscuits are provided at a cost of £1 per head.

You will receive a VAC Member welcome pack with useful information on getting the most out of your membership and a few extra treats!

Every member of VAC will be invited to our Annual General Meeting (AGM) and has voting rights for resolutions and proposals either in person or by proxy.

When you sign up to be a VAC Member, you will be assigned a Go-To Contact from the VAC team.

They will be your main point of contact for your membership, helping to answer questions and signposting you to the right place within VAC and/or our partnerships.

The Bimonthly Member Network is for VAC Members to connect with other VAC Members!
