Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust are looking for a BLOSM Youth Navigator.
As a Navigator, you will be working in ED and community to support children and young people with needs such as, but not exclusive to, involvement in physical violence/assaults, exploitation, substance use, social isolation, life skills, housing, criminality and relationships.
Using trauma informed practice, you will need to engage in various forms of communication to support them at a difficult time. You will assist these people and build trusted relationships, getting to know their needs and which service they will be best placed back into the community.
It is essential you can communicate with it others at all levels, and liaise with collogues in other hospital departments, statutory and third sector services, to ensure excellent coordination and support for the person you are working with.
Please be aware that the appointee will be expected to work a variety of shift patterns, including unsocial hours.

Salary: £27 ,485 to £30,162 a year per annum, pro rata
Contract: Fixed term
Duration: 12 months
