If you have a family member with learning disabilities who has received care from hospital in the last year, they want your feedback about the care they received.
About the Learning Disability Improvement Standards
The Learning Disability Improvement Standards were introduced by NHS England in 2018. The Standards tell hospitals what they need to do to provide good care to people with a learning disability.
To meet the standards hospitals should:
- Respect the rights of people and their families
- Include people in decisions about their care
- Ensure staff have the right skills and values
As part of this review, they are collecting information from hospitals, staff, people with a learning disability and their families. Your feedback will help hospitals understand where they are providing good care and any areas they can improve.
