Dear All, Getting the voice of the voluntary and community sector heard at the heart of Government is as important now as it has ever been. A series of workshops will look at the work of Parliament and how groups can engage with the process, raise issues and get their opinions across. Each workshop will cover Legislation, Select Committees, Parliamentary Questions and Debates, Using the Parliament Website and Information Offices to find useful information and the relationship between Parliament and Government. Each workshop will be suitable for an audience with varying levels of knowledge and will include a mixture of presentations, discussions and group activity. Workshops will be held at various locations across Yorkshire, Humberside and North Lincolnshire, please see attached poster for details of dates, times and locations. Space is limited and booking is essential, please return the attached booking form to Sophie Stockdale at Sophie.stockdale@involveyorkshirehumber.org.uk Please circulate this e-mail to contacts and colleagues who may also like to attend.
